The National Yogurt Association (NYA) has an aggressive media outreach campaign to educate and create awareness of the health and nutritional aspects of yogurt with live and active cultures, as well as to increase the per capita consumption of yogurt.
NYA's media initiatives reach national newspaper and broadcast media, as well as national and local trade and health publications. In addition, NYA reaches out to the purchasing public through the distribution of thousands of information leaflets detailing the advantages of live and active culture yogurt.
